Due Date Update!
Well, today is the official due date...and no baby yet. It was even harder to get to sleep last night because I was so excited about today though. It was like the tomorrow's my birthday feeling that I used to get when I was really excited about my birthday.... But I know today probably isn't THE day! This morning I'm going for some baby monitoring to make sure that it's okay to keep going past the due date - they'll do that twice a week from now on, besides my weekly doctor's visit. Should be interesting!
We bought our tickets for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, for Wednesday night at 8pm, taking the chance that the baby will still be in its most portable location at that time. If not, oh well!
Here are some pictures I promised from the baby shower I had online with Jen and Lynne!
What a nice time...

By the way, this is the face I'm wearing in my driver's license picture, it's so ridiculous!

Fingers crossed that you will make it thru the HP movie, and then immediately will go into labor after that (with plenty of time to get to the hospital, of course). I mean, if you have the baby before you get to see the movie, then I'm guessing it won't be until it's on dvd that you'll be able to see it & that'd be such a shame!
I can't believe in a few days you'll be a mom. You wake up one morning not a mom & then suddenly- pop- you're a mom. Crazy. I can't wait to see the baby pictures! And I love that we get to see you opening your gifts from your cyber shower- it was so fun!
Are those washington cherries next to the computer in the bowl? I bought some recently for a super good price- yum... boy, I'm all over in this comment.
Oh look at you!!!
You look so cute! I wrote you a huge e-mail only to have my computer say "windows has encountered a problem and needs to close"
I am still agitated and it was a week ago.
I have a teeny gift for you*money is really tight since the move:(* but I am excited to send it out...the gift is one of Michael and my favorite things ever.I know I am cutting down to the last few minutes but I have come to terms with that is just my style...
our kids will have close birthdays...Michael's is July 24th. He has decided he wants to go bowling, then to camp snoopy, then to chucky cheese, and the zoo and then to mcdonalds for a trans fat free happy meal....while these expectations are not unusual for a five year old it is unusual for a 32 year old to also entertain the possibility of fitting it all in.
I wish I was consistantly blogging again...Michael is just so cute...the only thing he wants is a sacaguewa *yep the spelling is really wrong* golden dollar and two fifty cent pieces...
anyhow, I have been eagerly checking your blog for updates... I know it sounds so cliche but really savor the last little bit of being pregnant...not everybody is like me but, honestly I really missed his little kicks and the special connect with him, when I was pregnant. We had to leave him an extra two days in the hospital after he was born and I just remember feeling so empty him not being tucked safely inside feeling his little hiccups and movements.
o.k. where is Greg...we need to discuss another offspring right now:)
If this is the last time I talk to you before yu become a mom...good luck, I am thinking about you and wishing for the very best baby and birth possible!!!

So I'm dying to know- did you get to see HP5 uninterrupted by baby? Or are you in a hospital bed holding your little one already?
We made it through HP just fine - no sign of real labor yet! Let's see how much further we can go...
The induction is scheduled for the biggest Harry Potter day of all - July 21st...poor Isaac! He's all worried someone will steal our book after it gets delivered, or that it won't get delivered at all...no one seems to have much pity for him though...
Yeah, I don't have much pitty for Isaac either give that you're the one who is past your due date.
Would someone really steal your package if you don't pick it up right away? Crazy NYC. Even living in a somewhat shady building (by that I mean there are tons of kids running around unsupervised who I can imagine would take something just to take it) I've never had anything taken... yet anyway. Great, now I'll have stuff taken all the time just because I said that.
Oh & I'm so glad you got to se HP5. I'm not asking any questions about it, though, because I won't see it until 1 wk from today with my niece.
No, I'm sure no one would take our package - he just thinks everyone is as big a HP freak as he is, and is overly suspicious!
